Dr. Doerhoff practices as a Surgeon at Capital Region Physicians – SurgiCare in Jefferson City, Missouri. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Missouri-Columbia with a BS in Zoology. He attended medical school and began a residency in General Surgery at the University of Missouri – School of Medicine. Dr. Doerhoff completed his training and was Chief Resident of General Surgery at University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina.
Dr. Doerhoff was Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery in 1984 and has re certified three times. He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He is an active member of several surgical societies including: The Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, Missouri State Medical Society, American Hernia Society, American College of Surgeons – Missouri Chapter, and Midwest Surgical Association.
Dr. Doerhoff has provided surgical services for 30 years and has focused his interest on abdominal wall defect repair, hernia mesh, and mesh fixation.
